The HB 4200 has two hose connections and a gear pump. The pump has an output of 38.4 kg/h. The system has a 6-channel temperature controller for setting the temperatures of all heating zones.

The temperature of the hot-melt adhesive in the tank can be specified on the control unit. The temperatures for the hoses and the heads can also be specified individually. The control electronics keeps the temperatures of all components at the selected values.

The melter can be controlled in two modes:

Timed operation

The main switch remains switched on in this operating mode. Switching on and off is software-controlled. The switch-on and switch-off times can be programmed for each day of the week. A temperature reduction (“standby”) can be programmed for work breaks in order to prevent the adhesive from oxidizing too quickly. The times for standby mode can be programmed individually for each day of the week. The "time-controlled" operating mode is ideal for regular, foreseeable requirements (shift operation).

Hand controlled operation
In the "manually controlled" operating mode, the melter is switched on and off with the main switch as required. This operating mode is suitable for irregular demand.
The melted adhesive is conveyed by a gear pump through the hoses (max. 2) to the manual application devices. The gear pump can work in two modes:
• Continuous operation
The gear pump runs constantly. Adhesive that is not removed is fed back into the tank through a bypass valve.
• Demand-controlled operation
The gear pump is controlled by a wireless remote control from the manual application devices. A run-on time can be programmed on the control unit.

Suitable for EVA, PO and TK hot melt adhesives .
