Demonstration model / refurbished piston pump hot melt applicator from the HB 6000 series.

Equipped with integrated level control and a powerful granulate feeder, the HB 6000S only melts the hot melt adhesive that is currently needed.

The 5-litre tank of the 6050 becomes the melting chamber. The ribs attached to the base plate melt only the required amount of hot melt adhesive and then feed it into a reservoir. The reservoir ensures that there is always sufficient adhesive available for processing, thus guaranteeing continuous hot melt adhesive application.

The adhesive granulate is supplied by a granulate feeder attached to the tank lid. The fill level is controlled by the integrated level control in the melting chamber and, in combination with the granulate conveyor, eliminates the need for manual filling of the melting chamber, thus also preventing overfilling.

The level control signal activates the conveyor system and compressed air is used to convey the adhesive granulate from a container into the melting chamber. When the maximum level is reached, the capacitive sensor sends another signal and the control system switches off the conveyor unit. If the tank is not filled within a preset time, the system emits an acoustic alarm.
